Description

Old pickaxe used by my great great great great grandfather in Harlan county moons ago. Passed down from father to son ever since. Getting rid of it to distance my self from a familial coal mining legacy. I've made good on a personal promise to end the cycle and am now I'm sacrificing its final symbol. Or I might have bought it at antique mall in sister's with the intent of restoring it but never got around to it. Who knows? It's been so long. Will more than likely require a shim to lock up he head in place. I was going to refinish the handle, which is easier to accomplish without a shim. Has a little rust as you'd expect from such a relic. And lastly, a recent fox News poll states that pickaxes can increase your sex appeal by up to 40%! Insane I tell you!
