1968-69 Gibson ES-355 ES-335

Up for sale is this fantastic 1968-69 Gibson ES 355. All the original parts are included with the guitar. Overall it’s in very good vintage condition with some play wear. No cracks, breaks, or repairs. The original harness is included, although in its current set up that has been converted to “mono.” Originally, these guitars were wired in stereo for use with Gibson’s special line of stereo amp’s. Most guys don’t have these anymore, so a lot of them get converted to a regular “mono” set up. If you want to convert it back, you just need to reinstall the original harness. Right now it plays just like a 335. Gold part show some tarnish. Ebony fretboard is really nice and sounds great. Pick ups are original patent number stickers. They have gold poor pieces. The covers have been often on the guitar, as they have touched up solder. The pick up covers look old and vintage, but because of this I don’t know if they’re 100% original. Comes in an era correct purple lined vintage Gibson case. Pots date to the latter part of 1968. Vintage dealer sign not included.
