Jamison's entry into the cool Gel market came big with the JGel series of mattresses to include the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and the Pacifica mattresses.    The Pacifica is a memory foam with infused Gel beads throughout the mattress to promote optimal air flow to keep the sleeper cooler and to keep the mattress cleaner.   Jamison Pacifica Mattress Composition: one piece construction 3 inches of 4 pound JGel Visco Foam which just basically means, memory foam with a good quality of memory foam.  Most mattresses offer 2 pound or 2 1/2 pound.  4 pound and up shows a better quality foam. The foam is ventilated and convoluted for maximum comfort.   The premium core consists of 7" Marriott high resiliency foam.  This is what contributes more to a mattress lasting longer.  The core or the base of the mattress is what provides support for the comfort layer which is on top.  If you have a poor support layer, the comfort layer will not last.  Support layers can either be foam like the Pacifica Mattress or can be inner-Spring as in other mattresses. The Jamison Pacifica comes with a 10 year Non-Prorated warranty which basically means a Full Warranty.  Some companies pro-rate their warranties where coverage goes down every year.
