Selling a Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 — Original Owner — This year was the first edition of the Svartpilen when Husqvarna brought the bike to market in America. It was designed and manufactured in Mattighofen, Austria unlike the later models moving most of their manufacturing overseas. Always garaged or covered, no accidents, clean title. This bike is so much fun. Pretty much in stock condition with the addition of new tires and a wind screen meant for a Ducati scrambler. Cash in hand for a test ride. $3500 Engine: A 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, similar to the KTM 390 Duke, producing 43.5 horsepower. Chassis: A lightweight trellis frame, contributing to its nimble handling. Suspension: WP suspension (non-adjustable), with inverted forks and a monoshock. Brakes: Equipped with Bosch ABS, radial-mount ByBre calipers, and 320mm front and 230mm rear discs. Ergonomics: Roomier than it looks, with a seat height of 835mm. Other: Slipper clutch, fuel capacity of 9.5 liters, and a claimed dry weight of 150kg or 300lb, Design: The Svartpilen is designed with a modern, urban-inspired aesthetic, drawing inspiration from Husqvarna's heritage.
