Description

Selling a partially restored Philco Predicta Holiday TV. Some unexpected expenses have come up and unfortunately I haven’t the time to complete the work. Here is a list of what has been done: - Chassis has been recapped with quality Panasonic and Nichicon capacitors, 630v for most of the film ( Some 1000) and 450V for Electrolytic caps. - All tubes tested with a TV7 tester, with exception to the 1B3GT which I wasn’t able to test. They are readily available replacements as far as I am aware. -CRT is a 6.3v 21FDP4 that tests ok on a B&k 465 CRT Tester. Not good or great, but still within the margins of “Good” in the tester. - CRT and Yoke wires have been replaced with reproduction cloth wire, 600v rated. HV CRT wire replaced with 42KV rated silicone wire. There are some issues, however. Notably the cabinet isn’t pristine as well as missing hardware and knobs. The raster isn’t entirely stable. It will produce picture but doesn’t lock as well as I’d like it to. It will need further work to be a fully working daily usage set. I’m asking 800 at this time for the TV. I’m open to reasonable offers, and will answer questions you might have.
