Description
Beautiful large antique engraving taken from Henry VI, Act I Scene III. Published in 1796 by J&J Boydell of The Shakespeare Gallery. A very dynamic scene painted by James Northcote, RA and engraved by GC Playter. The frame measures 28” x 21” and it is in very good condition, there is some foxing to the print but it is still a wonderful image and a great gift for the theater buff. I have more antique engravings available as well.
