Dell Precision M6500 laptop computer. Was recently working fine until I sold it online. During shipment, it must have been damaged, as it no longer turned on when the buyer received it. So, now I have a dead computer. When you push the power button, the power button (and nothing else) lights for a few seconds, the optical drive makes some noise, then it shuts off. No other signs of life. Maybe you can fix it. My guess is that it needs a new motherboard ($40-$50 online).
