Description

I am reluctant to sell my ol’ reliable “Adventure Van”. I bought it 2 years ago just temporarily for a move and for a comfortable road trip vehicle. You won’t win any races but it will get you there. I did not plan to keep it as I do not have a family so no need for the extra seats, but it has completely surprised me with its reliability and comfort. It is a base model but I have added some upgrades; underneath passenger seat lockable storage cubby, full factory floor mats, stock radio with AUX input, swapped the middle row bench with captains chairs, 2 new tires etc. So, why is this an “adventure van”? Well I put up some battery and remote operated string lights around the ceiling that gets compliments and stares whenever they’re on, and they do not interfere with your ability to see driving at night. A really nice look. I also consider it an adventure van as it has never failed to take me to my fun destinations, like last summer I drove it to Wenatchee every weekend with no problems. It has also been driven to the ocean, the Canadian boarder and of course eastern Washington. It saved me during the snowstorms in February as well, never got stuck or missed a day of work. If I was keeping it I would take out the back seats and turn into a camper van but I no longer have a place to park it. With that being said it’s not perfect; AC needs recharge however when it was working it was great, has some dents and a cut on the back bumper, check engine light is occasional for a fuel filter. I had the van diagnosed by 2 different shops in Lynnwood and they both said the same thing; it basically runs out of gas at a half tank. If you replaced the fuel filter it would function properly. It’s a $20 part or just $175 to have it fixed in your own driveway by my mechanic (pics attached). Also had a full diagnosis and everything else is in good shape. Windshield has cracks not in my line of sight. Drive it home title in hand
