This 1962 Studebaker Hawk GT is an American classic which would require only minimal work to become roadworthy once again. Restoration on this car began in 2013 with a top-quality paint job, new exhaust pipes, and an interior refresh including an entirely new headliner. The car was running well until a faulty water pump caused the car to be parked in 2016.  This Studebaker GT Hawk only has 124k original miles. The car is powered by the original 289 V8 which made about 225 horsepower when new and runs through a 3-speed "three on the tree" manual transmission. Both the engine and transmission are healthy and show no sign of stopping any time soon. Plenty of love and attention has been given to this car, but we are unfortunately unable to finish the project due to health concerns. If you check Hemmings or other auto auction websites you will see that running/driving examples of this model are selling for $20,000+. We are asking $4,500 OBO for our car which is a few minor repairs away from being show-car quality. This 1962 Studebaker GT Hawk represents a fantastic value on a piece of American history from a golden age of automobiles.
