Description

Very good condition Fender Competition Mustang in Dakota Red with a matching Dakota red headstock. All original, no breaks. This is a well kept and loved late 60's competition in a desirable color way, and one of the best necks I have felt on an older Mustang. Original pickups are surprisingly full and mid focused, with a pleasing high end clarity. Frets are in good playable condition, with no need for a refret. Neck is nice and straight. Original tuners hold tune well and are not bent. Knobs are smooth and not scratchy. Pickguard is in good condition. Very light and resonant. These older mustangs are obviously very desired, and this example has the playability and tone to match the hype. Comes with a non original hard shell case that fits the guitar nicely. Willing to ship or drive a reasonable distance. Always open to offers!
