1975 Aquasport 196

1975 aquasport split window. Boat structurally in good shape, age is beginning to show. Runs great and has been used regularly up until 8-9-2025. The throttle cable broke, i purchased a new boat don’t have the time for repairs. Pros : brand new Bimini top, floats great takes on NO water, I’ve taken it out 11 miles without issue 1995 evinrude 115 that runs perfectly. Brand new tires and rims on trailer, new lights on trailer. Solid boat for restoration or fix the throttle and take it right out to peanut island. Cons: throttle cable broken, steering cable stiff and should be replaced, small soft spot on floor, 90% of floor is solid. Original gas tank was corroded so it was removed. Ran boat on portable tanks. Was out trolling for 6 hours and used 14 gallons. Two portable tanks is plenty. Tachometer works intermittently, bunks on trailer need to be replaced. realistically boat should be restored, for what I’m asking it’s worth it.
