Description

Very cool Kay mandolin with some issues. The action is high and it could use some work. I was told it needs a professional neck reset, costing over $400. I did an amateur reset job, which didn't fix the action, but the neck joint should be stable for now. Playability is difficult, especially up the neck. But it's a very cool looking instrument and the electronics work well. So if your band needs some electric slide mandolin layered with effects, this instrument could fit the bill!
