Shure SM7 Microphone

This is an original 1970s vintage Shure SM7 Microphone (not SM7B or other similar model), so only used ones are available anymore. As a screenshot shows, they cost $1600 after taxes, shipping, insurance, etc. I'm selling mine for $400 less for a couple different reasons. One, I'm not willing to spend the time to find the perfect buyer who understands what they're getting. Two, even though it worked perfectly when I last used it, that was 5 years ago and I no longer own any other gear to test it for any possible flaws it never had before (it's half a century old, so the buyer must be reasonable enough to know that flawless perfection is opposite the point of using this type of mic). Considering the age and value of this microphone, I'll only sell to a local buyer who has at our first meeting both the equipment to test the mic and the cash to pay for it. Delivery beyond a 10-mile radius is possible for an added fee that will depend upon the distance/time required.
