Description

This is a limited edition Bessa R rangefinder film camera by Voigtlander. Along with it comes a 5cm / 50mm Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Leica Summar lens. BESSA R: Framelines for the Bessa include 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, and 90mm LTM lenses. This RF camera takes Leica Screw Mounts (also know as LSM or M39 Mount). This R is very unique. This Navy Blue version was only offered to the Japanese market in 2002. I would rate the optical and functional condition as mint. Definitely a gem. I ran a roll through it to test its operations and everything is working as should. This comes with a matching blue wrist strap and fresh batteries for the working meter. LEICA SUMMAR: This collapsible lens is from the last production batch before the Summarit in1939. This is evident through its serial number 503682. I would rate this lens as excellent condition given its age! Glass is clean and focus is smooth.
