The gorgeous Mouli Grater is in very good condition. While it is possible that this grater could still be used today, it is being offered here as a decorative collectible kitchen hand-tool. The Mouli Grater was made in France. There are two USA patents on one side "USA Patents 2271 175 and (contact info removed)". The other side has two "Other Pat. Pend. 2 604 916 and 2 587 186". The rustic primitive silver color has a gorgeously aged patina developing. The brown gray plastic handle has a worn and melted appearance.  According to references, the Mouli Grater company changed its name to Moulinex in 1957.  There are no missing parts as far as we can tell.
