My Mystery Snails will beautiful additions to your tank with body colors range from yellow, gold, blue, green, brown or purple. Mystery Snails come from South American they are a fresh water aquatic gastropod mollusks. Mystery Snails are often found in lakes or rivers, where the oxygen levels are low, so they are equipped with an air tube, a lung, and a gill allowing them breathe and take in the proper oxygen needed to survive. Mystery Snails have no means of attacking other tank inhabitants. So they should be housed with peaceful non-aggressive freshwater community tank fish such as  shrimp, other freshwater snails, Cory Cats, Otocinclus Catfish, Tetras, Danios, Rasboras, Guppies, Mollys ect.. but you need to avoid housing with cray fish, cichlids, and fin nipping fish. Mystery Snails tend to explore and search for food during times when the tanks lights are on or may find a quiet place to take a break. They can also be very active when the tank lights are off, feeding at night in complete darkness. But it's not uncommon for it to lay dormant for long periods of time. Mystery Snails can be kept in a small established tank like a 5 or 10 gallon aquarium. But they would also enjoy larger established tanks. I feed my Mystery Snails bottom feeder tablets, pellets, fish flakes, algae wafers, and occasionally feeding then green zucchini, leaf lettuce or iceberg lettuce to help provide a balanced diet.
