Description

I'm selling my 2016 white hyundai elantra in which I've been the only owner since I bought brand new back in 2017. The car has been stolen and retrieved before but is 100% mechanically fine, no engine issues. I kept extremely good care of it and is clean and drives well. Pros: • I bought new front tires for it a couple years ago or so which usually last about a decade. • Car only has 53k miles because i didnt drive it alot for a 9 year old car. • zero mechanical issues which is the most expensive issue for any car issue. • still has 1 year left of 10 year warranty I believe. Cons: • recently been stolen and retrieved. Thieves ripped out ignition lock cylinder to steal the car. From what I found online it costs about 90 dollars to buy a new ignition lock cylinder and you can replace yourself with new keys. Its a matter of unplugging and plugging the new one in. You can still turn on the car and drive though and I'll show you how when we meet. • thieves also ripped out driver side keyhole. However, i usually use keyfob so actually never use the key hole. • pretty recently there is some water leak coming from passenger side underneath glove compartment area. The water leaks when there is a hard left turn. From what I researched online 90% of the time, the AC drain might be clogged and overflows water when using AC. It can be fixed easily DIY if you have a garage and can get underneath the car, I have neither and also dont have much time so i cant. I have a scheduled appointment with Hyundai to look into it but it is booked pretty far out since they dont have any earlier availabilities so maybe you can take it off my hands instead. • Car has a slight dent on driver side door from a hit and run awhile back. Doesnt impact opening and closing the door though. If you choose to replace the door you can fix both this and the keyhole at the same time. • normal wear and tear, there is some rust from the paint just over time but again, just cosmetic stuff if you care about that or not. I like to be transparent before selling my car so included to the best of my knowledge all the issues I know of. Most of which are cheap/easy fixes or optional cosmetic stuff. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to meet up.
