Description

2018 Kia Rio S 4 door sedan, 1.6L, 4-cylinder, Automatic transmission, 160,000 miles. $7000 OBO. The engine is in great condition. The car starts, runs, and drives great. It needs a new catalytic converter, but it doesn’t affect how well the engine performs. It will just need to be replaced before you need to get it emissions tested. Brand new A/C. All of the interior electronics work great. It has all the power options – windows, door locks, etc. The steering wheel has controls for the radio, blue tooth, and cruise control. Check the internet to see all the features. The title is a salvage title. “Salvage title”. What does that mean in regard to this car? Nothing. It was not a wrecked car. It went to salvage because it was a stolen car. The back window was broken out and it was fixed. The steering column and the ignition switch were broken and they were fixed. It was NOT a wrecked car at all. A salvage title will not affect your being able to get insurance, nor will it affect the insurance rate you will pay. However, car dealers will probably not take it as a trade in if you were to buy a new car at a dealership, because it is a salvage title. Who knows? Maybe one dealer or another. I took pictures of the cosmetic damage done to the interior of the car that remains from the theft. The thieves cut up some of the roof liner, the back of the passenger's front seat, and the dashboard with a knife. There is a small spot on the driver’s front seat that is coming apart at the seam and the leather on the middle storage compartment is starting to crack. Other than that, the interior is in great shape. The upholstery and carpet have no stains or signs of wear and tear. The entire car looks as good as the one side you see in the picture. No dents or scratches. It is a nice comfortable ride from point a to point b. I work nights, so I am sleeping during the day. The only times that I am available are Fridays and Saturdays. Please send me a chat message during the week. In your message, please include the following. “I am interested in your Kia Rio. I would like to come by on Friday (Saturday) at such and such time (example: 12:30pm, 2:30am, between 4pm and 4:30pm, etc.) to take a look at the car.” I will reply to your message within 24 hours, most likely the late afternoon.
