Definitive Tech BP-8060ST Towers, Each with Builtin 300 watt amp & 10 Inch Subs

Outstanding Definitive Technology (aka def tech, deftech) tower speaker pair (two tower speakers each of them with built in powered subs (BP-8060ST). Each of the two towers contains a 300 watt amp for the sub, a 10 inch subwoofer, and two passive radiators. Also available separately: Center channel also with built-in powered sub (CS8060-HD). See my other post. These are high end audiophile speakers that originally retailed for $999 each, $1999 for the pair. This pair is in excellent shape and sounds like high-end audiophile speakers should, excellent accurate sound with the *option* of having a little fun and going crazy on the bass. These are also bi-polar speakers, with both front and rear facing midrange and tweeters. You dont need a separate sub with these, since each tower includes a ten inch woofer, dual passive radiators, and built in 300 watt amps. This design provides the added benefit of having subwoofers in two parts of the listening area, which fills your room more thoroughly and evenly with bass. (Perfectionists like two subs not one. These speakers make that possible. ) Check eBay, craigslist, & offerup for comparisons, and Bing/Google them. They are consistently given great reviews and ratings, and they are priced to sell fast.
