Description

Very rare antique PARAGON AUTOGRAPH ALBUM which dates to 1877 and made in USA. Includes Dedication and My Experience pages, Entries are in beautiful cursive penmanship and very fancy wording. Many read like poetry and are written to “Ida”. Quite a few entries are from those in Milford, NJ and Philadelphia, PA. Others from Phillipsburg, NJ… Camden, NJ and Edge Hill, PA. Most are dated 1877… with a few others dated 1878, 1879 and 1880. Also included is old black and white photo (see pic)… possibly Ida, or someone known to her. Album cover is maroon color leather with embossed gilt gold design. Pages have gold leaf edges. Good overall condition. Small piece of leather missing from bottom of spine as shown in the pic. Pages are very good condition. One page with corner crease. Front title page with some age wear as shown. Book measures about 8” x 5”. See pics for more details.
