2013 Nissan Leaf

This little blue charmer is a simple and safe car that is easy to drive and cheap to own. Yes, it is quiet and sporty, but it costs very little to run and own. This is not Tesla style electric car, it has a small battery by comparison. This car comes with charger for home outlets, but you can also fast charge when needed. It has been my daughter's car through high school and college and she is moving to hybrid for longer road trips. It is cheap because you can charge at home overnight when electric rates are low. Typically this costs about a third of what it costs for similar sized car that is gas powered. It shows a range of 59 miles, but real range is between 40-50 miles. Leaf drivers are some of the most efficient, because they baby their cars, use the ECO features and squeeze the most from the range, by not speeding and using the regen braking. This car has clean title from Arizona in my name. This is the premium SL trim with great stereo, nav and leather seats. The safety is exceptional with Front: 1st Row (Driver and Passenger), Side: 1st Row (Driver and Passenger), Curtain: 1st and 2nd Rows. No error codes are on the dash. The current display shows 6 of 12 bars in battery health, due to it's age. It is perfect for student or worker with short driving demands on 45mph roadways where car is most efficient. You can drive on highway, but it does use substantially more energy. This car doesn't burn through tires like heavy Teslas, the brakes seem to last forever because of regen braking charges the battery. The only service this car required during ownership is tires, wiper fluid, and 12V battery.
