Kenyan coastal, Lamu Island Swahili hand made dresser with mirror. Beautiful piece that shows the history of Lamu Island off the coast of Kenya in all it’s glory. This is a one of a kind collectible that I purchased in Kenya when I lived there over 20 yrs ago and brought it back to the US when I moved back to Seattle in 2005. Selling it now, but reluctantly. I paid just under a $1000 back then. I am selling it for $2,000 now. If it doesn’t sell in a week I am going to find a place for it in my remodeled house. Again, it’s a one of a kind hand made piece that’s from the historical island of Lamu Island on the coast of Kenya. It is for a person who appreciates the history of East Africa, not the average shopper.
