I'm a collector of vintage audio gear. I'm passionate about restoring and putting great vintage gear back in service. I sell both out of my home and on consignment at MisFitz Audio. All my vintage and newer audio gear is gone through thoroughly, repaired and cleaned. If it's not something I have the skills to fix, I have a professional repair it. Receivers will have all the controls cleaned and lubricated and dead lamps replaced. On many, I also remove the front panel and clean the glass inside and out. Speakers will usually have new foam surrounds and grill covers washed (not just vacuumed). My specialty is turntables. Most will have a new belt, new needle and the pitch/speed adjustment cleaned and lubricated. I clean the entire turntable thoroughly. All gear is run in my own system for a good amount of time before listing it for sale. I prefer you come to my home or MisFitz Audio (if it is on consignment there) to demo the item. You can trust that you won't have to bring the item back. I will warranty all my gear for 7 days.
