Description

I am selling a vintage 1920's banjo ukulele. This uke looks to be made of all maple wood. The calf skin head was replaced around 10-years ago, as was the bridge as both were missing when this uke was purchased. This uke originally came with violin pegs for tuners, but they were very temperamental, so I invested in a set of 4:1 planetary ukulele-specific violin-style pegs. These alone were $80. The steel resonator is also original to this uke. The ukulele plays well, and is actually rather fun. It is light weight and has a nice low action. Also, a little piece of paper with the description of Honolulu and ukulele was taped to the back of the headstock. I thought it was a cool piece of history and decided to leave it there.
