This is an ‘E’ series Squier, manufactured by FujiGen in Japan between 1(contact info removed). The pickups have been replaced with those from a 2001 American Series Fender Stratocaster. The pick guard was purchased at a yard sale in Nashville, TN. The guitar sounds great, and feels nice. I have the action a little high as that’s the way I like it but all of that can be adjusted. Intonation holds well. It’s left handed, but also works as a cool ode to Jimi for the right handed player. These early models were manufactured with higher quality parts and wood, the instrument has some weight and ‘feels’ genuine. Rich tone.
