Antique 1900s Sterling China Co. Floral Plates - Set of 4 - Flawless Condition

Up for sale is a beautiful, flawless matching set of four (4) antique porcelain plates manufactured by the Sterling China Company of Sebring, Ohio. These gorgeous plates feature a vibrant, hand-painted style floral bouquet centerpiece filled with pink, violet, and soft white blossoms. The design is framed with a delicate, clean gold gilt band along the inner rim. Historical Note: The back of each plate features the rare, early "Sterling China" crown backstamp. Frank A. Sebring founded this branch in 1900, but quickly changed the factory name to the Limoges China Co. (American Limoges) shortly after production began to avoid confusion with an existing hotel-ware manufacturer. This ultra-rare stamp tightly dates this specific set to roughly 1900–1910, making them an incredible piece of early American pottery history.
