For your consideration is an exceptional, authentic mid-century oval wall mirror by Borghese. These mirrors are highly sought after by luxury interior designers. For comparison, curated pairs of these exact mid-century Borghese oval mirrors regularly command $950 per set on premier luxury antique platforms. Perfect as a sophisticated standalone accent or as a statement piece in a curated gallery wall. Dimensions: • Length: Approx. 11" • Width: Approx. 9" Great vintage condition overall. The frame displays its beautiful, original factory-applied antiqued speckling. Consistent with true vintage plaster and gesso items of this era, there is a small, honest cosmetic chip on the side rim showing the white plaster base layer underneath (clearly shown in the close-up photo). True to its age, the glass mirror exhibits some charming, light vintage age spotting/foxing under the surface. This beautiful patina adds to its historic character without impacting usability, but it is noted for absolute transparency. The original metal ring hanger is securely attached and ready to hang.
