This 1978 Kawasaki KZ200 is finished in metallic Cerulean Blue and powered by a 198cc SOHC single paired with a five-speed transmission. Equipment includes a two-up seat, a mechanical front disc brake, a rear luggage rack, chromed factory sissy bar, a Keihin carburetor, a chrome exhaust system, street lighting, chrome fenders and mirrors, and both kick and electric starters. The bike was acquired by the current owner in 2020 from the original owner in Washington State, and work performed in preparation for the sale included fresh original paint, brake pads and replacing the battery with non-lead-acid type, new chain, and tires. This KZ200 A1 is offered with an owner’s manual, service manual and parts manual, original sale paperwork, a tool kit, lots of hard-to-find extra parts, and a clean Texas title. The fuel tank and side panels are finished in metallic Cerulean Blue with white pinstripes and badges, and they are mounted over a black frame. Equipment includes a two-up seat, street lighting, and both center and side stands as well as brightwork including a chrome luggage rack and factory sissy bar, chain guard, fenders, mirrors, and fork ears. Wire-spoke wheels measuring 18″ in diameter up front and 17″ at the rear. Braking is handled by a mechanical front disc and a rear drum. Suspension consists of a telescopic fork as well as dual chrome progressive shocks mounted to the swingarm. Power is sent to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission and new drive chain. The chrome handlebar sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 9k-rpm redline, and a vertical bank of indicator lamps for turn signals, neutral, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 3k miles. The 198cc SOHC single is equipped with a Keihin carburetor, a chrome exhaust system, and both kick and electric starters.
