Description

Vintage Yamaha FG-160 Jumbo Acoustic Guitar. Early 1970s. Fantastic condition. Tan Label. Made in Taiwan, I believe this is a 1974 model. Very rich sounding guitar. Lots of bass and sustain. Comfortable neck profile. Frets are in great shape with very little wear. Original tuners, holds tune well. Neck pocket is solid, braces are good. Has a tusk saddle and original nut. Has string ramps cut in the bridge, action is a little high for my taste at the 12th fret but very playable as is. Top wood: ply spruce Back & sides wood: ply mahogany Bracing type: x Bridge: rosewood Fretboard: rosewood Neck wood: mahogany Scale length: 25" Nut width: 1 11/16" Body width: 16 1/8" Body depth: 4 1/2" Located in Winter Park, FL.
