For sale is my trusty workhorse 2008 R1200GSA as I am now the proud owner of a new R1300GSA. This bike runs very well and includes some tasty extras. For the price it is an excellent specimen to introduce yourself to the Adventure Touring world on the quintessential bike; the BMW GS Adventure. This bike has been cared for meticulously and all service records kept with mileage and dates (provided upon request or at sale). All service and valve adjustments done frequently. Final drive has been rebuilt with OEM BMW parts including all seals. Oil changes done religiously with synthetic Mobil 1 oil as well as final drive and tranny oil. Drive shaft replaced wtih BeemerShop driveshaft that has replaceable universal joints and serviceable parts (see extras). Transmission was inspected and all bearings well within tolerance, clutch replaced at same time. Front wheel replaced with Excel wheel from Woody's Wheel shop and Galfer rotors installed (OEM wheel also included with OEM rotors; see extras below). All metal GS toolbox (made in Germany) installed on bike with many tools included. Very powerful Odyssey battery installed with extra outlets installed on bike. Power Commander V fuel managment module installed. Leo Vince exhaust and Carbon Fiber Leo Vince cylinder head covers installed. Full engine protection roll bars and heavy duty AltRider skid plate installed. Bar risers installed but can removed with no modifications needed. Highway pegs installed. 60/40 tires installed on bike ready for virtually any terrain. Bikes comes with ESA suspension system in full working order. Rear shock rebuilt and upgraded. Front headlight upgraded to bright LED (OEM light included; see extras) system with plenty of extra light mounted on the front. Bike comes complete with BMW Atacama soft bags and a large Givi rear clamshell case. Fuel gauge does not work but this was a design flaw from BMW (nerdy explanation given upon request), I have installed a device so the low fuel warning sign (annoying) does not show on the dash. to manage fuel range, I just reset the trip meter at every filling and know I have 250 smiles to go. I am the second owner, purchased in 2018, bike received SALVAGED title due to cosmetic damage (scratches on roll bars) from an accident but has absolutely no affect to its ability or mechanical integrity. This bike is a rock solid tank! Registration good till September, title in hand. Bike comes with 2 keys (these are not easy to get and cannot be copied by anyone but a dealer due to a miocrochip in the key). 116,740 miles $5000 for bike and all extras.
