Orig asking $795, dropped to $625, NOW JUST $595 !!! A classic, Federal style, dresser, in richly grained, Mahogany, with a museum band top and gracefully curved, bow-front. It will make a stately, bedroom dresser or dining room credenza, with six lower double deep drawers and three shallow top level drawers, the center, with dividers. Perfect for either, personal effects or silverware. Dimensions: 56”W x 19”/21”D x 34”H Condition: 9/10; Antique/Original; this dresser, came from NY, passed down three generations, and trading coasts, before I received it, by way of helping a friend clear out a home. It was in remarkably excellent condition, in spite of the time and distance. It has been thoroughly cleaned, oiled and freshly polished. I made a small repair to a section of the double raised border that had split, to good effect, and nearly undetectable. The inner case was air-blown, wiped with moist cloth and given two coats of spray shellack, to seal off any stale odors. Three coats of hand rubbed clear satin polyurethane have been applied to the inside of every drawer, to give the Mahogany bottoms a warm glow and a soft, pleasing feel.
