I had an Amazon yellow naped parrot Cage weighs about 20lbs 18L x 18W 35H inches I put a metal bolt to replace the broken plastic one in the food holder. It's much stronger now. Ive shown a photo of how I used to feed him. With a small glass plate on top of the food bowl. The plastic base and sliding tray is cracked a little but still functions. I'd cut up full page NY Times like paper and just took a sheet out every other day or so. The cracks came from moving or cleaning it.
