This is a vintage/antique French style loveseat. Features a tufted back, carved wooden frame, and cabriole legs. The style, which was popular in the 17th and 18th centuries, is characterized by its rustic yet elegant design, often using local woods like oak, walnut, or beech. The loveseat, also known as a settee, became popular in the 18th century as a two-seater sofa for couples to have a private conversation.
