Description
150, or best offer, moving sale Rare mohocany “Mary Jervis” cash box w/paper receipt, scrolled mechanism indicating goods, cash received and cash paid out, brass mounted opening in lid, dovetailed case w/hinged breadboard lid and locking cash drawer w/key, (bottom shelf) normal scratching and scuffing on finish, some oil stains that can be easily cleaned with the right cleaner or restored fully with oil varnish, use your imagination, good for a restoration project- 7 ½” T x 10 ¼” W x 19 ½” D. Still has original antique paper receipt roll! I have no clue how this cash register works or even if it’s functional, and don’t want to mess with it too much although it is very sturdy…but this is more of a museum/history type piece, something to be displayed or even possibly used at a shop, been in storage for a while so expect some dust. Otherwise great antique condition..please see photos for details. I have no idea it’s worth, i found a few online, sold at different prices over the years between 70-250 - all from England that were similar but all different brands and not one branded “Mary jervis” so I’m pricing it at midpoint…all reasonable offers will be considered Pickup only due to size
