Cabinet Pedestal has 1 drawer and dresser has 6 drawers. Finish is hand-applied in a multi-step process to add depth of color and durability. Loft bed has a slat-roll foundation, do not use a box spring with the mattress. Don't forget to check your space before you buy, you will need ample room to the right to access to the dresser drawers. Ladder bracket fastens securely to top of bed and cannot be re-positioned. Loft requires 8' clearance from floor to ceiling. Rigorously tested to meet or exceed all required and voluntary safety standards. Recommended maximum weight Full-sized loft bed: 500 lbs.
