Description
Shoot me an offer. Price negotiable. Selling my travel trailer. A year ago this saved my son and I from living in a shelter after leaving DV. It has served us well for the last year but it’s time for us to move on. I’m supposed to have it moved off the property by the 28th and unfortunately I haven’t had any luck finding us something affordable yet. But I’m close. So I’ve decided to sell it so I can use the money to stay in a hotel until we get into our own place. Here’s what you need to know: The Good: -No Leaks (had a leak last year but immediately dried it out and resealed the whole roof and haven’t had any leaks since) -Everything works (Heat/AC, electrical, toilet, faucets, microwave, fridge and freezer) -Queen size bed with storage underneath bed frame and even more storage underneath the platform the bed frame is sitting on (lots of room for storage) -Lots of counter space (I used as my “office” desk) -Lots of cupboards/cabinets -Speakers in the ceiling (not sure how they work, I just know they’re there) -2 bunk beds -Bathroom with a full size bathtub and a sink -Full size closet The Bad: -Two tires on one side are flat. The other 2 are fine. -Has a broken window (shown in last photo) -Small area of the ceiling where I believe a vent used to be is showing the insulation so I have the “vent” covered on top to prevent leaks. Haven’t had any issues. -The hot water tank needs to be replaced. There’s a crack in it so no hot water unfortunately. Almost bought a tankless water heater but decided not to since this was only a temporary home for us. -The awning needs to be fixed on one side. I believe it should be an easy fix but I’m not entirely sure. I don’t remember where it broke at but right now it’s strapped to the trailer using a ratchet strap. I was going to just remove the awning but figured I might want to fix it in the future so I left it. -Last winter I learned about moisture in trailers and had no idea what I was doing. I heard people say to get a dehumidifier but I brushed it off as being unnecessary and then regretted it when I found behind our bed had a little bit of mildew between the mattress and the wall. After inspecting the entire trailer - top to bottom - I cleaned everywhere with bleach and then slapped some kilz mold/mildew killer primer on there and we’ve been good ever since. -No full size fridge. But does come with a good size mini fridge and a big-mini stand up freezer (same size). They actually have more space than the full size RV fridge that was in here before I tossed it. -No bathroom door. I removed it to move around easier while getting ready for work. -The bunk bed mattresses most likely need to be replaced. They’ve been shoved to the back of the bunks (I’ve been using both bunks as storage) for over a year and they already seemed a bit dingy to begin with) -I kinda went crazy with the sealant/caulking gun and started covering every crevice with sikeflex 291 because I freaked out about the moisture in the windows thinking they were all leaking but this was before I learned about moisture and needing a dehumidifier lol Things I’m unsure of/never tried: -I have never used propane in this trailer but I was told by the previous owner that it works great and they used it every summer. I’m too scared to deal with propane so we used electrical countertop appliances lol -Don’t know if the oven or stove work. -Speaker system functionality So she needs some work but she’s still got a good amount of life left in her. Comes with all paperwork and the title. I never transferred into my name (didn’t have the money) so I will have to go to the DMV with you to transfer the title over to you. Price is negotiable. Just make me an offer.
