NOS 1992 Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster

This 1992 SRV Fender Stratocaster is as close to new as it gets. It truly is an unplayed example. (Within reason of course. It has been tuned and tested for functionality.) Purchased from the original owner, it is a proper time capsule. It has the original strings. It still has the plastic on the pickguard, rear trem cover, and even the case latches. Every piece of case candy is there. If you’re a collector of artist models, this is the one. If you’ve ever been curious of the condition these left the factory in, here it is! I made sure not to clean it with any products. I simply dusted it with an air duster. The original owner purchased it new from a Musicians Friend catalog In 1992. He has a collection of other guitars so this was simply a collectors piece for him. He was a massive Stevie Ray Vaughan fan and had a bit of a shrine going with this guitar in its case since new, as the center piece. The magazines, newspaper clippings of his untimely death, and book were all his, and are included in the sale if desired. Just message me to specify. The tweed case is in amazing condition, and it still smells like new. There are no pick marks anywhere. Even the thin plastic covering the guard is free of marks. The guitar has some small blemishes in the lacquer on the right side edge of the guitar. Input jack side. (see photos) It was delivered from the factory like this. The fretboard… it’s very dark and streaky. A very beautiful example. I have not removed the neck to check any date stamps as I don’t want to disturb the untouched nature of this guitar. But it’s a relatively early 1992 serial number. Serial #SE 914270 This is a one of a kind example of one of the most iconic artist models ever!
