Description

This is a vintage Fairco Picture Puzzle titled "Awaiting the Call", featuring the famous fox-hunting painting by British artist Heywood Hardy. The scene depicts a hunting party on horseback alongside a pack of hounds gathered in a traditional English country courtyard, patiently waiting before the hunt. Puzzle is numbered No. 535, series J. Made in the USA by E.E. Fairchild Corp, I believe it was produced in the late 1940s, but it could be early 1950s. Puzzle has 350 pieces and measures "about" 14" X 19" when assembled. I did work it myself, and you can see that it is complete. The pieces are in excellent condition. Box shows a little wear, but not much; it is fully intact with no split or taped corners.
