Hello from San Mateo! I am selling a gently used media sphere by Google, known as Nexus Q. In like new condition. The software app which was originally designed to control the device is no longer available for download, so this device must be hacked/rooted in order to gain access to it. Please understand that you cannot simply "plug and play" when you receive it. You need to hack/root it first (several references available online, which I would be happy to link in a private message). The black, spherical body of the server is fairly small at 4.6 inches in diameter, but weighs about 2 pounds. Inside is an OMAP 4460 dual-core ARM Cortex A9 CPU with an SGX540 graphics core. The processor is accompanied by 1GB of RAM and 16GB of flash memory. The player has a single control: the volume can be turned up or down by grabbing and twisting the dome - this was tested and works as it is supposed to. Offers connectivity via Wi-Fi, micro HDMI, microUSB and Ethernet (RJ45). Comes with original power cord and two Mediabridge 16AWG Ultra Series speaker cables with dual gold plated banana tips. $220.
