Rare and unique set of three (one coffee and two sides tables). Beautiful vintage Solid Iron, Circular Ornamental Table Base with hanging Gold Gilt Ropes and Tassels. These tables base features a hand forged, round iron stock with dark grey to black patina surface. Three horizontal rings of differing diameter supported by Four scrolled legs joined at the bottom by a stretcher with a center sphere. The Gilt rope is hung and twisted all the way around and has 4 hanging tassels with individually cut metal threads on each tassel. (See photo) The bottom feet have rubber inserts attached. We were told these tables base was made sometime between 1(contact info removed) by a very able iron smith, no doubt. Excellent vintage one of a kind piece. Top quality artistic metalwork!
