Description

1966 Chevy 427 high performance bare block. CASTING #(contact info removed). 4-bolt mains. .030" over. NO RODS, CRANK, OR PISTONS. bores are pretty fresh. clearanced for a stroker crank. they got into the water jackets and then welded back together. i had a local machine shop pressure test the block. pressurized to 50 psi with air, and sprayed with a spray bottle. 6 of the 8 welds leak. i believe it can be filled with hard block or some type of block sealer, or even welded to be repaired
