The Pioneer SX-780 is one of the most popular and best-selling vintage AM/FM stereo receivers ever produced. Manufactured by Pioneer Electronic Corporation in Japan from 1978 to 1980, it is highly sought after today for its quintessential "Silver Era" aesthetic, rich analog warmth, and dual twin-power meters. Cosmetically it is in beautiful condition and has the original manual! The veneer on the edges of the case cover are the only signs of wear. (Very normal, you can see in the pictures.) Key Technical Specifications Power Output: 45 watts per channel into 8 ohms (stereo) Total Harmonic Distortion (THD): 0.05% Frequency Response: 5Hz to 80kHz Front Panel Controls: It features a beautiful brushed-aluminum face, dual analog power meters, independent bass/treble knobs, low/high filters, a loudness switch, and a large illuminated tuning dial.
