Description
1961 Harmony Stella H928 parlor guitar from Chicago, Illinois (USA) with all original parts!!! **Taylor gig bag also included, but not an exact fit. I’m using it for extra padding if item needs to be shipped. Willing to take lower offer for local pickup.** This beautifully compact and lightweight guitar features the rare ivory finish with faux flame (1(contact info removed)), a steel-reinforced neck, and comes complete with the original chrome Lyre tailpiece. Most notably, this guitar does not have a truss rod, although standard for this model. It’s in incredible condition for its age, showing only typical cosmetic wear—no major issues at all! It’s perfect for collectors, blues enthusiasts, or anyone seeking an authentic vintage sound and style that truly stands out. **Needs a bit of work to become its best self, as is customary with older Harmony guitars** Summary Table Model: Harmony Stella H928 Year: 1961 Finish: Blond/Natural Weight: ~3.5–4.0 lbs (1.6–1.8 kg) Scale length: 24.25” (615 mm) Nut width: 1.75” (44.5 mm) Neck shape: Soft “V” to rounded “C” profile Board radius: Flat to ~12” (nominally flat on these models) Depth at 1st fret: ~0.88” (22–23 mm) Depth at seventh fret: ~1.00” (25 mm) Body width: 13.25” (337 mm) Body depth: 3.75” (95 mm) Top wood: Birch (laminated) Back & sides wood: Birch (laminated) Bracing type: Ladder bracing Bridge: Floating rosewood bridge Fretboard material: Maple or birch, painted black (to resemble rosewood) Neck wood: Poplar or birch Action height at 12th fret: ~3.5 mm (bass E), ~2.5–3 mm (treble e) (varies with setup).
