Sounds great with thick strings down to Martin Marquis Lights (my preference), no lighter than .012-.054mm Feature: Perfectly engineered. Input placement in strap peg is handy (keeps strap from interfering), EQ placed directly in your sight, away from annoyances (hidden by strap like other similar priced ac/el's). Black colour w/ pickguard is extremely stylish. Quality: Solid top and option of black colour (along with polyurethane gloss finish) make this an axe that will definitely catch your eye and crave it. Use Dunlop Formula No. 65 polish & cleaner. Value: Even Fender's recommended price of US$599 is uncontested by any worthwhile ac/el. For it's size, shape, and price this is the best value Fender ac/el, and quite possibly the best ac/el out there. It now retails for 299.99 I'm asking $200.00
