VINTAGE CARVER HR-752 RECEIVER, 100wpc It was serviced in 2004, see pics for label. I’ve open it up, cleaned the interior, and lubricated the Volume and Balance controls with DeOxit. I’ve bench tested it using the CD inputs. CD Direct, Hologram, Balance, Bass, Midrange, Treble, FM Tuning were all tested. The power On/Off button was off as the little clip was broken so I used hot melt glue to suspend it from the top edge and it’s working well like this (see pic) This is a powerful receiver as Bob Carver always over-bilt his power supplies. Amplification is provided via discrete power transistors and 16,400uf caps. No Remote. The Hologram push button enlarges the soundstage and I like it. For the purist there’s a CD DIRECT mode via push button. If you need speakers I’m selling a pair of Klipsch KG2 vintage power houses (separately), which sound amazing with this receiver.
