These were handmade by the Children of Hope Uganda organization in Africa supporting former child soldiers and those most impacted by war and poverty. I was there for five weeks in 2007 and lived with the director for three months and 2009. Proceeds will go back to them. Perfect for gifts and crafting. I have all different, solid colors, different styles, and multi-multicolor. The long ones are long enough to double and triple up when you wear them.
