Vintage Government Executive Oak Desk

This is a project piece that we unfortunately ran out of time and space to take advantage of. 1940s, (guessing), government issue oak desk, brass handles brass caps on feet, (a couple of those are a bit worn down). Overall, in amazing condition. The top had a period sheet of melamine that was unfortunately crumbling so it had to be removed. While in use, we took advantage of a beautiful thick piece of glass originally from IKEA as a desktop. This is an incredibly heavy piece so you would need help moving. Measures 60 inches wide 34 inches deep and 30 1/2 inches tall all the drawers work. This will be a beautiful desk when it’s cleaned up!
