I purchased this Vintage (possibly antique) footstool over 25 years ago at a resale shop. I don’t know the age of the footstool when I purchased it, but it is was old at that time. I had it professionally recovered, and the fabric has held up pretty well, but a couple of the corners are starting to wear a little thin. There are no rips or tears. There is a crack in one of the supports (please see photo), but it’s still sturdy even without the repair. It just creeks, I think all it needs is a little furniture glue. I am in the process of redoing my bedroom and transitioning to a more contemporary look so I will also be posting the chair that you can see in the photo and I’ll also be posting a king size bedframe.
