Gangsø Møbler Danish Mid Century Poul Poulsen Tile Rosewood Credenza

Mid century modern danish credenza / sideboard with tile inlay by artist & designer Poul Hermann Poulsen for Gangsø Møbler. With its striking patterned rosewood grain and hand placed ornate tiles, this cabinet is a piece of functional art. The credenza has plenty of storage space. The unit was designed with two compartments with adjustable shelves on either side of 4 drawers. The back of the piece is finished so it can be displayed in the middle of a room. The condition is immaculate -- it has been well kept since it was made in the 1970's, showing only the slightest amount of wear. There are no odors, cracking, water rings or dark spots. It is a very sturdy/heavy piece without any structural issues. All hardware is original. The tile inlay is signed on the bottom right by the artist. MCM, Mid-century, midcentury, Scandinavian.
