This is probably the reason why you get your air ducts cleaned in the first place. We all want clean fresh air to breathe. The only way your home gets air is from the furnace in the garage and then pumped in through the ducts. Just like you need to vacuum and mop your floors, you need to clean the dust particles that stick to the plastic or metal in the air ducts.  By cleaning your main airways you will be able to breathe again. For those of you that struggle during the spring time the second you walk outside and can't get relief even when you come home, this section is the reason why you need your air ducts cleaned. It's one of those annoying things you have to clean. It's not technically dirty but it just looks bad.
